INT: Elijah Wood

JoBloJoBlo

I really can’t imagine a better casting choice for 9. In Shane Acker’s animated tale, this character lost in a world gone made is absolutely perfect for Elijah Wood. He has the ability to convey the innocence and even the fire when necessary. Okay, I’ll be honest, I am a massive LORD OF THE RINGS fan, so I have a special place in my heart for anything and everything that comes from it. But Mr. Wood truly has a gift with a character like 9.

I have to say that it was an terrific experience to talk with him. He is incredibly kind and very easy to talk to. And while I couldn’t stop thinking of Frodo (“Frodo Lives“), I’m glad to see that Elijah continues to tackle some unique films and step away from the iconic character. I definitely recommend you check out 9.
