INT: Neil Patrick Harris

For some reason, Neil Patrick Harris is cool. Is it the whole “Doogie Howser M.D.” thing? Is it Colonel Carl Jenkins in STARSHIP TROOPERS? Well, for me it is anyway, all about the STARSHIP TROOPERS. He also has a pretty impressive career under his belt, including his Emmy Nominated work on “How I Met Your Mother” as Barney Stinson. But he also deserves some props for playing what could possibly be his most challenging work to date, as “Neil Patrick Harris” in the HAROLD AND KUMAR films.

Sitting down with Neil at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, it made me happy that there was no glass available. It was all fun and games until he got cocky, but he wasn’’t going to f*ck with me. No way. I could take Doogie. Actually, Neil is one hell of a cool dude. He doesn’t feel like your typical child actor. He is self assured, yet has no problems laughing at himself. He is just a damn cool dude. And frankly, Mr. Harris is one of the shining moments playing his ““bad ass self” in HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY. Check it out this coming Friday at a theatre near you.
