Duncan Jones is a true talent. While he may have only two feature films under his belt, both happen be to inspired, intelligent and pretty damn entertaining. With MOON, he created what may be one of the most important science fiction films in recent history. It is sci-fi at its best thanks to great casting, and a smart script. Thankfully, with his latest film SOURCE CODE, he continues to create a fascinating world that is rich with character, while not skimping on thrills.
When we spoke to Mr. Jones he talked about finding character and humanity in his work. He gave high praise to his talented cast which includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga. He even touched on his plans for one of his upcoming projects, MUTE, and the advantage of turning it into a graphic novel first. It’s hard not to get excited to see where this talented writer/director will go next.
SOURCE CODE opens this Friday, April 1, at a theatre near you.
