Sexy action hero Jason Statham got his first break in 1998 starring in Guy Ritchie’s LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS. Better known for his gangster parts, Vincent Pastore is most remembered as “Big Pussy” from HBO’s “The Sopranos.” Together, they join a fine cast of actors in Ritchie’s soon to be released mind twister REVOLVER.
Statham portrays a gambling ex-convict who accepts protection from Pastore’s character while taking revenge on the man responsible for his jail time. Sound a bit confusing? Well it can be so pay close attention to the film. I had fun sitting down with the two last week in NYC to chat about the film, prep work, and working with Ritchie. I could have sworn Pastore was still in character while Statham was expectedly handsome, charming, and friendly. Check out what the actors had to say.
