In Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker’s best girl. She’s more than that, though; she is, hands down, one of the most famous comic book characters of all time. You need not be a geek to know the importance of the character in the lore of comics, and these forthcoming Spidey films will see the role surrounded by certain kind of tragic romanticism.

As for the actress inhabiting her, Stone is everything you could ask for, and it’s rather impossible not to succumb to her natural magnetism. The actress’ forthcoming manner commands respect, while her good-naturedness is thoroughly without pretention or cynicism. In short, she’s the perfect combination of girl next store and movie star. Sitting down with her to talk THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN was, I won’t lie, a real joy… I only wish the cameras had been rolling when we were talking about Polish movie posters from the 80s. (Yes, guys and gals, she’s that awesome.)
