INT: The Rock/Sarah Michelle Gellar

JoBloJoBlo

In SOUTHLAND TALES, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Dwayne Johnson play a couple of innocents in a world on the brink of destruction. Sarah is a porn star named Krysta Now and Dwayne is a one time action hero suffering from amnesia. And within the film, the two spark some chemistry. Both of these fine folks have found success before, obviously everyone knows The Rock and of course, one of my favorite shows of all time, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” featured Sarah who was always gold in her portrayal of The Chosen One. Yet, their film roles have been mixed, so it makes sense for the two to take on a film written and directed by Richard Kelly.

The second I walked in to chat with the two of them, I was more than a little excited. I’m a huge fan of BUFFY and was happy to finally meet Sarah. She was very sweet and charming, and she also looked fantastic. It was also a whole lotta fun to meet Dwayne. These two shared info on working with Richard and what attracted them to a project that many will love, many will despise, yet most will probably never forget. So if you are a fan of Kelly, and are in the mood for an odd flick that is like nothing you’ve seen before, check out SOUTHLAND TALES.
