Into the Dark: My Valentine gets a new trailer, Sinister inspired poster

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I watch every movie in the Hulu / Blumhouse anthology series Into the Dark, but my interest in this month's Valentine's Day themed entry MY VALENTINE is especially high due to the fact that it was executive produced by genre regular Scott Derrickson and his SINISTER and DOCTOR STRANGE co-writer C. Robert Cargill. Hulu has referenced Derrickson's involvement by giving MY VALENTINE a cool poster that pays homage to the poster of SINISTER. That poster can be seen below.

Hulu has also released a new trailer for MY VALENTINE, and that's embedded above.

The feature debut of writer/director Maggie Levin, MY VALENTINE tells the story of

a pop singer whose songs and artistic identity have been stolen by her ex-boyfriend/manager and shamelessly pasted onto his new girlfriend/protégé. Locked together in a small concert venue after hours, the three of them confront the emotional abuses of the past… until things turn violent.

The film stars Britt Baron, Anna Lore, Benedict Samuel, Ally Maki, Sachin Bhatt, and Anna Akana.

MY VALENTINE will be available to watch through the Hulu streaming service as of tomorrow, February 7th.
