Isla Fisher Tag Jon Hamm

We’ve all played tag in our youth, but I doubt that many of us would keep the game going for decades. New Line is assembling an all-star cast for TAG, an upcoming comedy which revolves around a group of friends who did just that, and THR has reported that Isla Fisher is the latest to join up.

TAG is actually based on a real-life story which was featured in the Wall Street Journal, in which a group of friends from Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, WA have been playing an epic game of tag which has lasted for thirty years. They even secretly enter each other’s homes and schedule their vacations around the game. I’m sure their spouses absolutely love that. Production on TAG is due to kick off next month and will star Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Jake Johnson, Hannibal Buress, Jon Hamm, Annabelle Wallis and Rashida Jones. Fisher will play the wife of Ed Helms‘ character, who is the brains behind this latest and most important tag game in the men’s lives.

TAG is slated for a June 29, 2018 release
