Italian one-sheet for Greg Mottola’s Paul has sharp familiarity

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

I can’t be the only one who’d much rather see Seth Rogen in PAUL than THE GREEN HORNET, am I? Okay, so we’re gonna be hearing not seeing Rogen in the former, but damn, did you not see how laughable he was in the trailer for the latter. Abominable!

Anyhoo, a new Italian one-sheet has premiered for Greg Mottola’s PAUL, which also stars those cheeky Brits Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The poster isn’t too dissimilar from a muddled promo poster we blasted you with last month, but there are a few noticeable differences. First off, the image is far sharper. Also the framing of the RV, with the two men inside and Paul outside, is done tighter. Furthermore, Paul isn’t scratching his ass this time around, he has both hands in his pockets. He also magically has a backpack on this time around.

Touring theaters March 18th:

PAUL revolves around Two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever. For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base.

For reasons unknown, the space-travelling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town—a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Collings (Frost). Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes.

David Koechner, Jane Lynch, Kristen Wiig, Sigourney Weaver (below), John Carroll Lynch, Jo Lo Truglio, Blythe Danner and Jesse Plemmons are also in the movie.
