The Australian key art for Lucky McKee’s upcoming film THE WOMAN has just been released. Peter Barrett & co at Hoof Design, based in Melbourne Australia, designed it. It is a simple design, but quite smart and effective. You can check it out below.
Out on a night of hunting, a man spots a primitive, wild woman whose feral ways he tries to tame after he captures her. In his basement he subjugates her through violence in an effort to ‘civilize’ her. The essence of what it is to be human is tested until breaking point when his family becomes involved and the atrocities he is responsible for come to light in a shocking and unfathomable way.
THE WOMAN stars Pollyanna McIntosh (below), Sean Bridgers, Angela Bettis, Carlee Baker, Shana Barry, Marcia Bennett, Tommy Nelson, Shyla Molhusen and Frank Olsen.
No word on a US release date yet, but it is making the festival rounds, so keep an eye out.
