PAPER HEART is an upcoming faux-documentary co-written and starring Charlyne Yi, the comedian with a short but memorable part in KNOCKED UP as Martin’s stoner girlfriend Jodi. The film is setup as a documentary (and at times is somewhat of an actual documentary) but takes a turn for the scripted when she goes to interview Michael Cera (playing himself) and they fall in love.
A new clip from the movie is online and features Jack Black’s cameo from the film. In this scene, Charlyne is trying to interview him about his first love while the director is trying to get him to be more “Jack Black.” This is all adding up to an interesting experiment but will it make for an enjoyable movie? Check it out below and let me know what you think.
