Jackman breaks his truce with Reynolds in a savage ad for Aviation Gin

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Just like the cake from Valve's Portal 2 video game, it would appear that Hugh Jackman's truce with Ryan Reynolds to cease heckling one another is public is also a lie. On January 31st, both Jackman and Reynolds took to the their respective Twitter accounts to announce that they were finally setting their differences aside, and as a way of apologizing to one another, would deliver legitimate commercials for eachother's signature products.

You can see the social media exchange between both actors below:

For those foolish enough to believe the duo, the truce had felt like the end of an era. However, those of us who remained faithful to the pair's hilarious Hatfields and McCoys routine shall now be rewarded, as Jackman has recently broken his sacred vow by creating a savage commercial for Reynold's Aviation Gin.

You can watch the hilarious commercial for yourself below:

You know, I think there might be a samll part of me that feels bad for Reynolds, who obviously went to great lengths to create a genuine and flattering ad for Jackman's Laughing Man coffee. I'm just kidding. I falt-out live for this on-going playfulness between the Wolverine from down under and Canada's Merc with a Mouth. In fact, I wish we saw more camaraderie like this among Hollywood greats, and I'm not talking about more cross-over ads for Stella Artois.

What's your favorite part of the video? I personally love the dejected look in Reynold's eyes when he confesses to Jackman that his ad for Laughing Man cofee cost $1 million dollars to produce. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and may the feud continue until the end of days!
