This is one SAUSAGE PARTY I would love to attend. Back in September we brought you word Sony had picked up the R-rated animated movie written by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter, and Ariel Shaffir, with Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan directing, and now The Wrap has learned which actors will be lending their voices to the upcoming comedy.

Seth Rogen will of course be voicing one of the characters, and joining him will be James Franco, Edward Norton, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Kristen Wiig, Nick Kroll, and David Krumholtz. Rogen, Franco, Hill and Crea will play the leads, and the others will have supporting roles in SAUSAGE PARTY.

Synopsis:

"After falling out of a shopping cart, the hero sausage and his new friends embark on a journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale."

I'm sure most of you assumed a few of these actors would voice characters in SAUSAGE PARTY since it involves Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, however I'm surprised and thrilled to see Edward Norton has joined this ridiculous sounding project as well. SAUSAGE PARTY sounded promising before, but with this cast, it could be downright awesome.

SAUSAGE PARTY will hit theaters sometime in 2015.
