Jennifer Lawrence says she’s “dying to come back” for more X-Men movies

Last year Jennifer Lawrence said X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will be her last X-Men flick before later saying that she hasn't decided yet if it will indeed be her final time playing Mystique. But it certainly sounds like the actress has made a decision, based on the comments she made during an interview with Empire.

While speaking to the magazine on the set of the upcoming comic book movie, Lawrence said “I am dying to come back. I love these movies, I love being in them. I love ensemble movies because it’s not on anyone’s shoulders."

Obviously this doesn't mean that Lawrence will definitely return for any future installments, however it does seem like she is open to the idea of reprising her role as the blue-skinned shapeshifter. X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will mark the end of the "First Class Trilogy," but Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy may have signed on for more mutant movies, and I'm sure Fox would also love to have Lawrence around for another X-Men film or two.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is due out on May 27, 2016.
