By now everyone is wondering what on earth is up with Joaquin Phoenix? Is his new unabomber look and rap career the sign of a man who’s lost his marbles, or an elaborate hoax in which we’ve all fallen victim? Whatever the case may be, following this bizarre chain of events sure has been entertaining, and the fun shows no sign of stopping. A bewildered and spacy Mr. Phoenix appeared on Letterman last night and gave an interview that will go down as a classic alongside Farah Fawcett, Charlie Kauffman and Crispin Glover to name a few. And as usual, Letterman was in fine form, handling the awkward situation like a seasoned pro.
