It’s good to see Joe Dante do all he can to keep his name relevant in the current world of horror. Earlier today, we directed you toward the newly available SPLATTER, a short Dante directed for super producer Roger Corman. Now we’re throwing at you another poster for Dante’s THE HOLE 3D, this time, asking in quad format: “What Are You So Afraid Of?”

I can’t really say I dig the over-polished look of the characters on the poster, what with their Bon Jovi and Justin Beiber feather cuts. As far as Haley Bennett (below) goes though, I don’t think I could ever speak ill of that heavenly creature. Could you?

Still awaiting a U.S. release date, From director Joe Dante comes a family-friendly, 3D thriller that explores the fears and secrets buried in the minds of children. After moving into a new neighborhood, brothers Dane & Lucas and their neighbor Julie discover a bottomless hole in the basement of their home. They find that once the hole is exposed, evil is unleashed. With strange shadows lurking around every corner and nightmares coming to life, they are forced to come face to face with their darkest fears to put an end to the mystery of THE HOLE.

Chris Massoglia, Nathan Gamble, Bruce Dern, Teri Polo and Quinn Lord all star in the picture.
