Easily one of the most anticipated movies of the year for action buffs, JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 will reunite us with our beloved Keanu Reeves as he brings John Wick back for more ass-kickery. It’s already one of the most anticipated by the Joblo staff (see video below), and though the movie comes out next week there’s still plenty to get excited about, like this new poster.
Most of the posters have taken a simpler approach, but this one wins the prize for best minimalist efforts, while still retaining some epicness. Check it out below!
Cool, right? This seems like the kind of teaser poster you would release when announcing the start of production or something, but any day with any new WICK goodies is a good day. This new movie will pit Wick against a former friend who is now trying to take control of their assassin’s group. No dogs were hurt in the making of this movie…I hope.
I’ve been digging all the posters for this movie, and this one is no different. The world and Wick are just so cool that you don’t really have to do much to make the advertising work. Just throw Reeves on there looking snappy, armed with some guns, and boom you got my attention. If only everything could be so simple.
