Troubles keep mounting for Jonathan Majors, as it was determined today that the judge presiding over his case will not dismiss said case and will force the actor to stand trial, with a date set for November 29th.

This news comes just one day after it was revealed that a police report filed in London last year would enter the mix, further complicating Jonathan Majors’ issues. The contents of this part of the investigation include “medical records from the United Kingdom, photographs taken by medical providers, and correspondence with [a] medical provider.” What’s perhaps most damaging here is that the report is from last September, a half-year before Majors was initially arrested. This, coupled with numerous accounts of physical and mental abuse (particularly towards women) going back to his days at Yale, paints a wholly unflattering image of the actor. Soon after his March arrest, Majors’ defense team stated, “Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone…We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated.”

Jonathan Majors is facing four misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment stemming from the aforementioned arrest. The trial was originally set for August before being pushed back to September, then to October, then finally to the week after Thanksgiving. Majors faces up to a year in jail if convicted. Majors’ defense team is also currently seeking to keep an “evidentiary matter” out of public sight during the trial, as it contains “sensitive information” that might prevent a fair trial and further damage his public image.

In the brief period of 2023 before his arrest, Jonathan Majors was having a banner year, starring in Magazine Dreams, Creed III and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Majors appeared in the most recent episode of Loki as variants of Kang the Conqueror, the character Marvel was positioning to be the next big threat in the MCU after Thanos.

Do you think Jonathan Majors will be found guilty? If not, what will his career look like going forward? Give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
