Ray Fisher, who has recently had his part in DC Films' The Flash stripped from the film following a bout of online outrage, has said that he would reprise his role as Cyborg if Zack Snyder were to ask him to contribute to a Justice League sequel. Previously, Fisher had demanded that Warner Bros. launch an investigation into the set conditions for Joss Whedon's Justice League. As a part of his very public complaints, Fisher claimed that Whedon exhibited “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior while overseeing the film. After finding Warner's attempts to look into the matter lacking, Fisher extended his accusations to certain Warner Bros. executives, including Geoff Johns, and DC Films President Walter Hamada. Despite going back-and-forth as to where he stands in wanting to suit up as Cyborg for another film, Fisher recently told a fan on social media that he would gladly contribute to a Justice League sequel if Zack Snyder were to give him a call.
"I’d definitely pick up the phone," said Fisher in his response. "There’s no way I wouldn’t pick up the phone, that’s crazy. Even if he just called me to say what’s up, that phone is getting picked up. He could be like, “Yo, I’m gonna do a Dawn of the Dead 2 and we want you to play a zombie,” I’d be like, just put me the way in the back, I’m fine with that."
Fisher may be at his wit's end with Warner Bros. and key figures attached to the studio, but he appears to still have plenty of love for Snyder, who gave the actor his big break by casting him as Cyborg in Justice League. While Snyder currently has no plans to create a sequel to Justice League (or work on any other DC property for that matter), stranger things have happened. It's entirely possible that Snyder will tap Fisher for another project down the road, even if the part isn't as prominent as a character like Cyborg.
For what it's worth, I do hope that Fisher can one day feel at peace with the Justice League situation. The ongoing drama certainly can't be good for his career, and burning bridges with a mega-studio like Warner Bros. is a dangerous game indeed.
