To what extent that the R rating is necessary for the Snyder Cut remains to be seen, but you can bet that Snyder fans are eager to find out. Will the Snyder Cut establish a new bar for R-rated superhero movies? Probably not, though you're certainly going to want to proceed with caution when gathering the family for Snyder's intended take on Justice League.
