I’m no logician, but does this means Jessica Biel is Melina?

Deadline is reporting that Kate Beckinsale (pictured) has been offered the role of Lori in Les Wiseman’s TOTAL RECALL. Stunning, I know.

Word has it that a couple of names we mentioned in the past are still being considered for one of the lead roles (likely Melina), Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson to be exact. Still, with the news of Jessica Biel being offered one of the lead roles two weeks ago, and Beckinsale in line for Lori, we can only surmise Biel has either passed on the project, or it is her that will play the character originated by Rachel Ticotin in 1990. We shall find out soon enough.

TOTAL RECALL is due August 3, 2012 – boasting a new story that involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy, although he doesn’t know for which side.

Really though, is there a more smokin’ combo you can think of than Biel and Beckinsale? Good gravy…
