Katherine Langford of 13 Reasons Why joins the cast of Avengers 4

Additional photography on AVENGERS 4 may have recently wrapped up, but that doesn't mean that we can't learn new things about who will be appearing in the film. The Wrap has reported that Katherine Langford, star of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why, has joined the cast of AVENGERS 4.

Katherine Langford has already shot her scenes on AVENGERS 4, and as expected, the nature of her role is being kept under wraps. It's not known just how large Langford's role in the film will be, but it's likely to be a nice feather in her filmography nonetheless. As for when we might see our first look at AVENGERS 4 (as well as the reveal of the title), Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige reportedly said that we should see our first trailer for the film "before the end of the year" while speaking at a BLACK PANTHER event.

Although Katherine Langford broke out with 13 Reasons Why, in which she plays Hannah Baker, she won't be returning for the third season of the Netflix series. However, the actress will remain in the Netflix world as she's slated to play the lead role of Nimue in Cursed, a re-imagining of the King Arthur legend from Tom Wheeler (The Cape) and Frank Miller (SIN CITY). The series will be a coming-of-age story told through the eyes of Nimue, "a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther."
