These questions and many more are likely to come about while watching the new trailer for REPLICAS, an upcoming sci-fi mystery drama directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (TRAITOR, HOLLYWOOD PALMS) and starring Keanu Reeves (JOHN WICK franchise, THE MATRIC franchise).
Here's the official synopsis for the film:
After a car accident kills his family, a daring synthetic biologist (Reeves) will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science.

Penning the screenplay for REPLICAS from a story by Stephen Hamel (PASSENGERS, SIBERIA) is Chad St. John (LONDON HAS FALLEN, PEPPERMINT). When the life-extending sci-fi thriller arrives, Reeves will be joined by Alice Eve (DAREDEVIL, BEFORE WE GO), Emily Alyn Lind (ENTER THE VOID, REVENGE), Thomas Middleditch (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, FINAL GIRLS), and John Ortiz (AMERICAN GANGSTER, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, among others, for what looks like REPO MEN with a romantic twist.
