Keanu Reeves defies death’s natural order in new Replicas trailer & posters

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

One thing that makes life so special is that our time on this planet is fleeting. No matter how you try to deny it, you will die one day. With that in mind, it's important to live every day to its fullest, and to strive toward leaving a lasting impression on those you love throughout the journey. Lofty aspirations aside, what if you could buck the natural order by extending your life beyond its means? Would you accept the help of someone who offered to replace your broken bits with new ones as part of an effort to stave off the inevitability of death? These questions and many more are likely to come about while watching the new trailer for REPLICAS, an upcoming sci-fi mystery drama directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (TRAITOR, HOLLYWOOD PALMS) and starring Keanu Reeves (JOHN WICK franchise, THE MATRIC franchise).

Here's the official synopsis for the film:

After a car accident kills his family, a daring synthetic biologist (Reeves) will stop at nothing to bring them back, even if it means pitting himself against a government-controlled laboratory, a police task force, and the physical laws of science.

In addition to the reveal of the film's latest trailer, Entertainment Studios also debuted a pair of new posters for the upcoming fantasy drama. You can check them our for yourself below, and don't forget to click on them if you'd like to purchase a print or either image:

Penning the screenplay for REPLICAS from a story by Stephen Hamel (PASSENGERS, SIBERIA) is Chad St. John (LONDON HAS FALLEN, PEPPERMINT). When the life-extending sci-fi thriller arrives, Reeves will be joined by Alice Eve (DAREDEVIL, BEFORE WE GO), Emily Alyn Lind (ENTER THE VOID, REVENGE), Thomas Middleditch (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, FINAL GIRLS), and John Ortiz (AMERICAN GANGSTER, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, among others, for what looks like REPO MEN with a romantic twist.

We'll know just how far Reeves is willing to go to save the ones he loves when REPLICAS arrives on January 11, 2019.
