Keitel Cuts 9 Throats

Damn, how about casting Mr. White himself in your first feature? Well, we can all envy Rodrigo Gudino for achieving such a coup, as Harvey Keitel has signed on along with Mads Mikkelsen (BLEEDER, EXIT) and Roy Dupuis (BLEEDER, THE TIMEKEEPER) to play a part in a horror-western entitled CUT THROATS NINE.

CUT THROATS NINE, a remake of the 1972 Spanish/Italian western CONDENADOS A VIVIR:

Follows a wagonload of convicts as they travel the northern mountains to carry out their death sentences. Following a surprise attack from a gang of bandits, only the sergeant, his beautiful young daughter and seven of the most sadistic, murderous men alive survive the assault.

And on that note, in the immortal words of Andy Samberg: Jizz in my pants!!!

I love all things horror-western, an under-utilized subgenre infinitely rife with potential. I seriously can’t wait to see The Bad Lieutenant getting sicko-psychotic in the European mountains. How about you?

CUT THROATS NINE is a Rue Morgue Cinema production in association with Someone At The Door Productions.

Filming looks to commence in Toronto by early January.
