It’s official: Kevin Smith is making his first foray into porno for his next movie. OK, it’s not a full-blown Dirk Diggler adventure but the raunchy comedy (natch) ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO. As you might expect, it follows the (mis)adventures when a couple looks to internet porn to make a quick buck when their fortunes turn bleak. Smith revealed the project in an interview with the LA Times, where the master of self-promotion admits he sold the project to Harvey Weinstein on the title alone. Rosario Dawson is reportedly Smith’s first choice to star (and yes there is plenty of nudity) but she has yet to commit. Filming is expected to take place in Minnesota this February and perhaps most interestingly, he still hopes to squeeze in his horror film RED STATE before PORNO begins shooting. Sounds like a busy year for View Askew!
