Even though everything I’ve heard about George A. Romero’s SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD makes it sound like one of the worse movies ever made, I have to admit… I f*cking love this new poster for the film, from artist Charlie Adlard (the same talented bastard who illustrated THE WALKING DEAD).
Those f*cks at MTV scored the first look at the new poster, featuring a horde of zombies fading into the moonlight and a boat leaving a wake of blood. How flipping awesome is this??? Hella. It’s hella awesome, that’s how awesome it is.
This kind of artwork is the kind that’s warranted to be displayed on your wall in a kick-ass frame or something. And it sure beats the snot out of every other SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD poster we’ve seen to date. Give this Adlard fellow more work–he sure can bring it!
SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD is now availabe ON DEMAND and through a bunch of other home entertainment sources, and will be hitting theaters everywhere May 28, 2010.
