Although she won’t be playing the lasso-wielding wet dream, she has been cast instead in a film called THE EIGHTH WONDER, to be written by MR. AND MRS. SMITH scribe Simon Kinberg. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we do know that he story centers on an archeological discovery that sets off a globe-spanning race. Sounds a little like NATIONAL TREASUE meets RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK to me, however Kinberg, known for his character-driven popcorn pieces, is sure to add some much-needed class to this tale of adventure and intrigue. I think it might actually be fun to watch Kidman jump off cliffs and arm-wrestle tigers. Can you please take your feet off my coffee table?
