Producer Lloyd Levin is a busy man. Earlier this week I wrote about his participation in a film adaptation of FRAGMENT, an adventure-thriller taking place on a mysterious island, and now I’m here to tell you about another of the uber-producer’s pet projects, this a live-action version of THE UNTAMED, a dark fantasy revenge tale published by Stranger Comics.

THE UNTAMED is about a man released from hell and given seven days to reap the seven souls that murdered him and his family. It was written by Sebastian Jones, who also penned the screenplay. Boom! Studios co-founder Andrew Cosby (also the creator of Syfy’s “Eureka”) is attached to make his directorial debut.

Levin had this to say about the badass main character: “He’s killed a lot of people himself, but he not only gets the chance to unravel the mystery of who killed his family and get revenge, but there is a story of redemption here as well.”

Ken Locsmandi, the visual effects supervisor of films like THE MATRIX and FIGHT CLUB, among others, is also on board. Now they just need money for the flick, which apparently will be “modestly budgeted”.

More on this as we hear it…
