Greg Kinnear has signed on to play the male lead in the upcoming comedy BABY MAMA. Kinnear will star alongside Tina Fey as a juice shop owner who falls in love with a woman trying to find a surrogate mother. Maura Tierney also joins the cast playing Fey’s older, and more successful sister. Amy Poehler, Sigourney Weaver and Dax Shepard were previously cast in the film. Kinnear will work on BABY MAMA this summer before seguing to the DreamWorks romantic comedy GHOST TOWN this fall. Michael McCullers will direct the film from his script based on an idea from Fey. Lorne Michaels of “SNL” will produce the film for Universal (part of NBC-Universal, which owns “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock” of which both Michaels and Fey are both associated).
