
Here’s a perfect example of how important casting is to a movie. Replace Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in this KNIGHT AND DAY trailer with, say, Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson and suddenly I’m a lot less interested. A LOT. But with Cruise and Diaz…I mean it’s not exactly high art, but I was rolling to roll with their considerable charm and go with this one. The new trailer is online and features Cruise in less a Ethan Hunt type role and more of a rogueish Clooney or Downey, Jr. -esque character. Check it out below!
