Kung Fu Panda art

Dreamworks is finally jumping on the 3D CGI animation bandwagon (what took you so long, guys?) with their upcoming release, KUNG FU PANDA, starring the voice talents of Jack Black and Angelina Jolie. The official site has just gone up and features nothing but artwork for the film, but this is my first look at the characters and I assume the same can be said for many of you out there. The fact alone that the film appears to be penguinless is a huge coup for Dreamworks as far as I’m concerned, and it looks like it could be a lot fun. Black stars as Po the Panda a lazy waiter in a Chinese restaurant, who is also apparently the ‘Chosen One’ to stop the forces of evil before it’s too late. Jack Chan, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu, Ian McShane, and our boy Seth Rogen all help out in the vocal department, and I’m thinking this could shape up to be Dreamworks’ best animated film that doesn’t include a green fatass.
