I don’t know about you, but I could use more Kurt Russell in my life. Just doesn’t seem like the man is present enough, despite tearing shit up in DEATH PROOF, which is stunningly the last major film he starred in. But Jack Burton/R.J.MacReadey/Snake Plisskin fans can now rejoice, as Russell has just landed the lead role in UNDYING.

The script, written by BOOK OF ELI scribe Gary Whitta, tells the story of private investigator Virgil Lone, who gets pulled into a surreal underworld when he is hired by the mysterious Delia.

Production is scheduled to begin in the fall, though no director has yet been announced. Media 8 Entertainment (MONSTER) is financing along with E-Motion and Queen Nefertari Prods.
