It couldn’t have been easy for director Karyn Kusama to scrape the shrapnel off the AEON FLUX bomb she helped detonate at the box office in 2005 but she’s back now to direct red hot scribe Diablo Cody’s upcoming horror thriller sophomore effort JENNIFER’S BODY for Fox Atomic. In the film, smoking hot Autobot helper Megan Fox will play a cheerleader who becomes possessed and starts offing the lecherous pervs who dare make kissy face with her. Jason Reitman, director of Cody’s critically acclaimed debut offbeat comedy JUNO, will serve as producer. Don’t let the generic horror plot fool you. On the surface, JUNO is just another story about a high school teen’s careless pregnancy and look how that turned out. JENNIFER’S BODY is sure to be, as Optimus Prime so eloquently declared, more than meets the eye. Shooting is set to begin in March.
