Land of Sleestak

Update: We recently received the high res Sleestak goodness. Click those bug eyes to big-size that reptilian bastard.

If you are/were a fan of the “Land of the Lost” TV series, you’ll no doubt remember the dangerous reptilian-like race of creatures populating the land in which the protagonists suddenly find themselves lost in – the Sleestak. In the currently filming Will Ferrell starring feature adaptation, they’re back, and USA Today has your very first look at them. They haven’t changed drastically from the original – they’re a little shorter and greener – but, as director Brad Silberling promises in the accompanying article, they’ll be good, ole fashioned guys in costumes as they were in the series and not CGI. In the film, Ferrell is a park ranger who, along with Anna Friel and Danny McBride, find themselves transported to a land populated by dinosaurs, the Sleestak and all kinds of hilarity-inducing creatures. Check out the full pic over HERE. The Sleestak attempt to put the hurt on Ferrell July 17th of next year.
