It’s been confirmed: Lauren Graham will be starring in Wes Craven’s highly anticipated SCREAM 4. The rumor has been circulating for a few days, but last night Graham appeared on Jay Leno’s show and mentioned that she’ll be playing Emma Roberts’ mother in the film. Read on for a couple of direct quotes:

“I’m really excited to be in Scream 4. I play Emma Roberts’s mom and that’s all I know because it’s that scary!”

“They don’t tell you anything because they’re afraid it’ll get out on the internet. I am signed to do a movie I haven’t [read the script for]. I’m probably the killer!”

Damn, ain’t you never heard of a spoiler alert beeyatch?!

In addition to Graham and Roberts, SCREAM 4 stars (so far) Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Rory Culkin, Lake Bell, Hayden Panettiere and Nico Tortorella and David Arquette. It comes out in APRIL 2011.
