Now that he put his on-screen tough-guy days behind him, immortal Clint Eastwood is focusing on giving some history lessons using A-list talent. In the epic decade-spanning drama J. EDGAR, Leonardo DiCaprio tries on a new accent and some facial prosthetics to play the FBI founder who wielded an excess of power and kept plenty of secrets.

The Oscar-friendly movie also features Naomi Watts, Judi Dench, Armie Hammer, Josh Lucas, Marty McFly’s mom, and “Burn Notice” star Jeffrey Donovan.

Synopsis: J EDGAR explores the public and private life of one of the most powerful, controversial and enigmatic figures of the 20th century. As the face of law enforcement in America for almost fifty years, J. Edgar Hoover (DiCaprio) was feared and admired, reviled and revered. But behind closed doors, he held secrets that would have destroyed his image, his career and his life.
