Linnea Quigley’s Horror Workout: 24 hour streaming event on star’s birthday

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I always think it's cool when TV stations and streaming services celebrate special events with 24 hour marathons, like when TNT shows A Christmas Story from 8pm on Christmas Eve through 8pm on Christmas Day. So it really makes me smile to hear that the free streaming channel Fuse Sweat is going to be celebrating the birthday of horror icon Linnea Quigley by streaming Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout for 24 hours straight.

Linnea Quigley's birthday is tomorrow, May 27th, and Fuse Sweat will be streaming her Horror Workout video from midnight to midnight.

Fuse Sweat is "devoted to the most popular '80 and '90s nostalgic at-home fitness videos" and is availble on VIZIO SmartCast, XUMO, Fuse.tv, and Fuse apps.

Directed by Kenneth J. Hall, Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout was released in 1990 and is a fascinating 1 hour experience, which means Fuse Sweat will be able to show it 24 times. The synopsis:

After a nice shower, Linnea does some warm-up stretches and then goes for a run. She encounters some flabby zombies who follow her back to the house, where she leads them in some poolside aerobic routines. Later she unwinds by inviting some girlfriends over for a slumber party and some exercise. When something goes bump in the house, her friends begin experiencing an attrition problem.

Yep. There's a shower scene, exercising zombies, a slasher in a Ronald Reagan mask, and Linnea's group of slumber party friends includes Cynthia Garris.

I can't say I'll have Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout on all 24 hours tomorrow, but I will be checking in on the stream from time to time.
