Lionsgate’s Reawakening adds comedian Donald Glover and American Horror Story’s Evan Peters

Jason Blum, who just had the weekend of his life with his production THE PURGE, is currently working on the low-budget Liosngate thriller REAWAKENING, which we last told you about in mid-May. The flick had Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass in its cast from the get-go, but now it has added a couple more names, according to The Wrap.

Donald Glover (“Community”; pictured below)) and Evan Peters (“American Horror Story”; pictured above) have come aboard the supernatural chiller, which revolves around:

a research team that discovers a way to bring the dead to life. When the lead doctor’s daughter dies, she is given the serum, which leads to horrifying results.

Glover and Peters are apparently part of the team.

REAWAKENING is being directed by David Gelb from a script written by Jeremy Slater and Luke Dawson. It doesn’t have a release date yet.
