2020 Walt Disney Studios Preview

Last Updated on August 3, 2021

Disney became the first studio in movie history to gross $10 billion at the global box office in 2019. Holding 7 of the top grossing films of the year domestically (AVENGERS: ENDGAME, STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, TOY STORY 4, THE LION KING, CAPTAIN MARVEL, FROZEN II, and ALADDIN) along with part of another (SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME), Disney also broke into the streaming wars with Disney+ and their huge hit in The Mandalorian. 2020 looks to be even more lucrative for the House of Mouse with two Pixar films, two Marvel Studios projects on the big screen and one on Disney+ along with several other anticipated projects. And that doesn't even factor in 20th Century Fox! Expect more records to be broken in the coming year by this massive slate of films.

Check out all of the 2020 releases from Disney and their subsidiaries below.

Please note that all release dates are subject to change. Films coming in 2020 that do not have confirmed release dates are not included here.
