Los Mercenarios! New Spanish poster for The Expendables hits

The new Spanish poster for THE EXPENDABLES, awesomely translated as LOS MERCENARIOS, is nothing different than the poster we first showed you HERE.

Of course, I’m a liar. It is different. The font, for example, is red here (versus silver), and the title is LOS MERCENARIOS, not THE EXPENDABLES. See? HUGE difference. In truth though, there is one big difference: this version has a tagline where the previous U.S. version did not: Unete a la lucha.

Using my mad skills as a Spanish linguist (i.e., thanks Google), I believe that roughly translates to Join the Fight, which is kind of awesome. See? The U.S. version doesn’t even have a tag line like that! A win for Spain!

Enjoy the new international poster below, and get ready for LOS MERCENARIOS (aka THE EXPENDABLES) in theaters everywhere August 13, 2010.
