Maggie Q has a hellish time in trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman’s Death of Me

You may have seen Maggie Q have a horrific experience on FANTASY ISLAND (available HERE) earlier this year, and on October 2nd Saban Films will be giving a Digital and On Demand to the film DEATH OF ME, which puts Q through another horrific experience on a different island. A month and a half away from the film's release, a trailer has arrived online and can be seen above.

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (best known for SAW IIIII, and IV) from a screenplay by Ari Margolis, James Morley III, and David Tish, DEATH OF ME has the following synopsis:

Vacationing on an island off the coast of Thailand, Christine (Maggie Q) and Neil Oliver (Luke Hemsworth) awake hungover and with no memory of the previous night. They find footage on Neil’s camera, and watch, horrified, as Neil appears to murder Christine. With twenty-four hours until the next ferry and a typhoon threatening the island, Christine and Neil attempt to reconstruct the night’s events—and are snared in a web of mystery, black magic, and murder.

Q and Hemsworth are joined in the cast by genre regular Alex Essoe, who told Rue Morgue that DEATH OF ME has "a THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW vibe to it" and that she plays "kind of a nefarious role".

DEATH OF ME looks like it's going to be worth checking out this October.
