Zach Helm certainly has a penchant for vibrant, spirited women who awaken dull, boring accountants (or IRS agents, as it were) from their work-induced stupor. In the case of his directorial debut, MR. MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM, Natalie Portman is the vivacious young woman who opens up Jason Bateman, a boring accountant, to a little magic. That’s not entirely what the film is about, of course. That can be found courtesy of the film’s trailer, which today premiered at Moviefone. It’s not spectacular but it is intriguing and Portman is, as always, an impossibly adorable button. Check it out over HERE. It opens November 16th.
