Mahershala Ali is Marvel’s new Blade!

The Daywalker has returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe… and he's a freakin' two-time Oscar-winning actor! He's Mahershala Ali (GREEN BOOK, MOONLIGHT)! This is huge! I mean, Wesley Snipes was cool as Blade, no doubt. But if you're gonna replace him with someone else, I think Marvel has hit the bloodsucking jackpot! Here's our live tweet from when the announcement was made at Marvel's Phase 4 Comic Con panel yesterday:

As of right now, there is no release date yet for when Ali's BLADE slashes into theaters. We also don't know who will be directing or costarring, but for now I think everyone is satisfied. I just wonder, will they make this BLADE R-rated? What do you think? Comment below!
