Hey everyone. So I’m at home now, a bit buzzed after having drank six bottles of Pabst Blue Ribbon. And I’m here writing my final JoBlo.com article of the evening, while an epic battle of wills occurs inside me. I don’t have a lot of money and I worry about my weight, even though I’m by no means fat. My problem is, do I leave the house and buy a two-dollar pint of coconut fudge ice cream from the corner store, and then eat the whole thing tonight– and yes, if I buy it, I’ll eat the whole thing tonight. It’s almost 1:30 AM, so I could easily finish this article, put my laundry away, go to bed, and feel much better tomorrow morning that I didn’t spend the money or ingest the calories. Or I could be hedonistic, head out right now, buy the ice cream, and absolutely destroy it in twenty minutes of sheer bliss, double-chin be damned. What do you guys think I should do? And more important, what do you think I did?
