Mall Cop Poster

Even though he’s starred in some pretty high profile movies, I don’t feel that Kevin James is yet a movie star. I don’t find him particularly funny, but I guess his following is strong enough that he keeps landing starring roles. Based on the trailer for his next starring vehicle–PAUL BLART: MALL COP–I don’t think this is the role that will catapult James into that upper echelon of comedy actors. The poster itself has that Apatow aesthetic but maybe what he needs is to actually be in an Apatow film. Just a thought.
