Aw yeah…feel it, feel it…
The last rumbling we heard about Stephen Norrington’s THE CROW refurbishment was quite a pleasant one. Remember back in July when it was told Nick Cave had been brought aboard to redraft the script? That shite was the tits, right? Well, looks like Cave and Norrington are now pitching some pretty lofty offers to A-list actors for the titular lead.
Word from the sickos of Bloody-D has it that Marky Mark Wahlberg has been offered the lead role of the franchise reboot, on previously made famous by Brandon Lee (as Eric Draven). My guess is Wahlberg turns this shite down quicker than Turtle’s tequila proposition…but hey, dude did suit up for MAX PAYNE, so you never know.
Currently in pre-production, THE CROW has no actors officially attached. As far as Wahlberg’s current slate, he has David O. Russell’s THE FIGHTER due out later this year, and only one other flick…THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN, currently in pre-production.
But what says you ghouls and gals? You got good vibrations about Wahlberg being the right man for the job? You think Marky would ever actually accept?
