Meet Darren Aronofsky’s mother! one month earlier than expected

Several months ago, Paramount cancelled the production of a new installment in the FRIDAY THE 13TH franchise, which had been set to reach theatres on Friday, October 13th, and replaced it on their schedule with writer/director Darren Aronofsky's mysterious horror-thriller project MOTHER!

But MOTHER! isn't going to come out on that October Friday the 13th, and it isn't because it has been delayed like that FRIDAY THE 13TH reboot had been multiple times. Instead, Aronofsky's movie is going to be coming out a month earlier than expected.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, Ed Harris, and Kristen Wiig, MOTHER! promises to deliver "thrills and chills" while telling the following story:

A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

Yeah, there's still a lot we don't know about this one.

MOTHER!'s new release date is September 15th. With the movie now two months away from theatre screens, we're sure to start learning more about it very soon. In fact, word is that the trailer is attached to this weekend's release DUNKIRK, so if you want to see the preview before it drops online head out and get a ticket to Christopher Nolan's war movie.
