Life isn't easy on board Bong Joon-ho's SNOWPIERCER, just take a look at the latest set of character posters for the flick below! Holy shit do they look exausted! I'm not at all familiar with the French graphic novel but the flick sounds pretty damn wicked and we here at AITH are really looking forward to it!
This marks the English-language directorial debut for Bong Joon-ho and will be distributed by The Weinstein Company in North America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, SNOWPIERCER is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
The film features an international cast including Chris Evans, Song Kangho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Brewmner, Alison Pill, John Hurt and Ed Harris.
