It was only yesterday we called attention to 3D horror flick now known as THE UGLIES, from writer Ethan Terra and director Howard Smith (formerly known as THE LEGEND OF ZOMBIE ROAD). Well, would you believe the duo are hard at work on another. Or two?

Way the hell back in 2007 we kept you abreast of a slasher joint called BLACK FRIDAY, which Terra and Smith we’re spearheading. Well I’m not sure if this next joint is simply BLACK FRIDAY renamed or if it’s the title of BLACK FRIDAY’S sequel. Either way, when you stumble on a flick about a sadistic biker gang getting their bloody comeuppance, it’s hard to resist!

Now titled COWBOYS FROM HELL 3D, Smith and Terra’s film follows:

A ruthless biker gang is terrorizing across the countryside and Gary Reynolds (the bounty hunter) is seeking revenge upon them for maliciously killing his son. The gang decide to hole up for a night in an abandoned house that holds pure hellish terror and the gang soon find themselves face to face with an elusive serial killer.

If you thought that premise kicks balls, peep this cast: Kane Hodder, Tom Sizemore, Tiffany Shepis, Betsy Rue, Dick Warlock (helluva name), Scarlet Salem, Steven Barton and Joe Knetter (who co-wrote the script with Terra). Damn solid, huh?

Well it would be if it holds. You see, two and half years ago we made it known Ethan Terra was intent on dishing out fake storylines for his film, even keeping the real juice from producer Sean Cunningham. When you consider this, and the casting discrepancy between now and then…your guess might be as good as ours in terms of what the flick will actually be.

Still, COWBOYS FROM HELL 3D ain’t a bad title to talk about, is it?

More as we mine it!
